Jakub Berdych and Maxim Velcovsky are designer and share not only a design studio named Qubus, but also the love to special creations. Though this is great, nevertheless, it would not reach to be mentioned on this side. If there was not another principal character who gives Panton’s idiom to this small history.

PHANTASY LANDSCAPE

Year: 1970

A scenery formed from countless residential sculptures – this is the PHANTASY LANDSCAPE by cult designer Verner Panton. Within the scope of the Cologne furniture fair the Dane formed the psychedelic residential scenery as the heart of the Visiona 2 on the ship of the Bayer AG.

RADISSON SAS MEDIA HARBOR HOTEL DUSSELDORF

A boutique hotel in the heart of Duesseldorf’s harbour, this is the RADISSON SRS MEDIA HARBOR HOTEL DUESSELDORF. Settled in the so-called media harbour, the 135-room and 3 suites house was finished in 2005.

SPIEGEL EDITORIAL STAFF HOUSE

Some know the canteen of the today’s SPIEGEL EDITORIAL STAFF HOUSE from films, music videos or at least from photos. The least ones, however, know that it is the creation work of Verner Panton.

VARNA PALACE

Year: 1971

Verner Panton never limited himself only to the order of single objects, but put them always in a context, incorporated the whole space with his creation. The best example: the VARNA PALACE in Arhus/Denmark in which a restaurant was accommodated. Guest space, way, society halls, toilets – all rooms of the classical building found out an elementary transformation in 1971.

GASTHAUS KOM-IGEN

Year: 1958

As the first big order Verner Panton took over the removal and the indoor creation of the KOM-IGEN inn on property Langeso Park on his home island Fünen. Principal was his father, who pursued the bar as a tenant. He had recognised the potential of his son and wanted to promote.
