Panthella
Year: 1971
An organic manifestation, to a little mushroom similarly, characterizes Verner Panton’s Panthella. The light, conceived for the ground and table application, adapts itself harmoniously in her sphere. By her hemispherical-shaped lampshade and her trumpet-like base the lamp dips the space in a pleasantly soft light. With Panthella Verner Panton created a light with which state foot and screen act equally as a reflector. In the 70s Panthella could be bought in the colours white, green, red and silber. Today the Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen limits himself to the simple white implementation. Panthella exists of only three elements which are available, if damaged, also individually.
