Spiral
Year: 1970
A sculpture formed up from long-pulled spirals – the Spiral has more the effect of a perfect object, than beeing a bare light. Six years after the Fun, Verner Panton created the Spiral lights in support or advancement to her predecessor. Instead of round panels corkscrew ropes formed of plastic build up a perfectly circular whole. Once, in addition, made in red tones and blue tones, in the meantime the luminous body is only offered in white, chromium-plated, multicolour and gilt.
