Wire Lamp
Year: 1972
A year after pantonova Verner Panton brought out the WIRE LAMP. Module furniture which seem to adapt themselves in every situation were the strength of Verner Panton. In this manner the WIRE LAMP fits excellently to the furniture of the pantonova family, with the wire shelf leading the way. Also to the wire cone chair harmonises with the filigree light. Formed from a wire rope rotated to a spiral, the WIRE LAMPS are totally open on the sides and at the bottom. A colorfully varnished metal cap forms the end upwards, it looks like a little hat. Formed in white, brown, yellow and orange the WIRE LAMP can be adapted very well to the colour creation of the surrounding. While the light in the meantime was not produced any more, VerPan is going to take them up again in the Panton programme in 2010.
