Jakub Berdych and Maxim Velcovsky are designer and share not only a design studio named Qubus, but also the love to special creations. Though this is great, nevertheless, it would not reach to be mentioned on this side. If there was not another principal character who gives Panton’s idiom to this small history.

A year after Pantonova Verner Panton brought out the WIRE LAMP. Module furniture which seem to adapt themselves in every situation were the strength of Verner Panton. In this manner the WIRE LAMP fits excellently to the furniture of the Pantonova family, with the Wire Shelf leading the way.

COLOURS INFLUENCE THE WELL-BEING
“The colours influence our life and our momentary mood. Colours can generate a cheerful or a depressed atmosphere. For many people colour is more important than form if they do look at an object (not ladies) or experience something. As a low filing table for ashtray and drinks Verner Panton conceived the CONE TABLE. His round tabletop, his conical table leg and a three-armed cross base made the table the ideal companion of the Cone Chair, Verner Panton had created for Kom-Igen Inn, the restaurant of his father.

Year: 1960
The MOON LAMP rang in a new creation style of Verner Panton in 1960. Already in 1955 the designer had conceived droplights who consisted of a system of ring-shaped reflectors, with partly different profiles. These single elements were connected by threads with each other.

Year: 1968
Simply and nicely, with these both adjectives the FLOWERPOT by Verner Panton can be described the best way. Conceived as a table light, cover light and garden light, the design of the light sketched in 1968 was distinguished in 1972 with the federal price Gute Form of the Federal Republic of Germany.

As a re-design of the Yamagiwa drafted in 1977 by Verner Panton 30 years later the ONION came on the market. From a huge number of varnished metal lamellae (white or glazed) vertically compound, her bulbous form reminds of an onion.
